Speaking of Mercy's tooth...

Look what happened during my involuntary Internet vacation:

I can hear Nana singing, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth...." And because someone asked: No. I'm not aware of any special baby teeth traditions in Korea. Although if there are some, I'd love to know! Rather, Faith was six and just beginning to lose teeth the first time she traveled with me to Korea. So she chose one of these special boxes for herself and for each of her sisters in Namdaemun to be a "tooth box."

You can tell from the fingerprints that this box is well-loved. It holds the only two teeth Mercy had when she came home from Korea.

As to my involuntary Internet holiday (due to modum woes): Wow! I may have to plan these periodically. Unplugging is a fantastic way to get other things done!
